South in the late 1960's. My mother discvered her family
in Choctaw County, Alabama...we moved to Mobile where I finished
high school and attended the University of South Alabama for a brief
period.
I have been a
resident of the Eastern Shore for over 25 years. I obtained my real
estate license in 1979 from the Alabama Real Estate Institute...
being taught by the charming professor of real estate, Mr. Lorren
Perdue. I have had a very long background in the real estate
industry by my various jobs as a legal secretary and my exposure to
the construction and development industry while working in Point
Clear when the Point Clear Place Office Building and the first and
second phases of the Magnolia Trace Condominiums were built. While
employed in Point Clear, I was also involved in the formation of
Magnolia Trace Inc., a real estate company still in business today.
I also worked with the "Southern Comfort" entertainment cruise ship
which was initially introduced at the Grand Hotel.

Later, in 1990, I went on to be the Qualifying Broker for Quail Creek Realty in Fairhope, and oversaw the successful beginning phases of Quail Creek Estates and The Villas of Quail Creek, which is adjacent to the City of Fairhope?s 18-hole public golf course. When Quail Creek Realty dissolved, my real estate career led me to become an Associate Broker for Irvine Realty, which later became Coldwell Banker Suncoast Real Estate. It has since merged a couple of times and is now called Coldwell Banker United today.Throughout the years, I have specialized in the sale of new construction, residential homes, vacant land, acreage, and commercial properties.I have been with Keller Williams since October 1, 2006 and loving every minute of it!!! I reside on the bay with my husband Tommy. I have two grown sons, Roger Jacobsen who is an Executive Sous Chef in New York City, and Zach Jacobsen who is in the insurance adjusting business in Oklahoma City, OK. My first grandson, Devon Alexander Jacobsen, was born in September, 2005 and is now four years old. My first granddaughter, Brooklyn Marie Joy Jacobsen, was born on October 7, 2009.
Gardening, walking, yoga, and playing with my Great Dane's, "Duffy and EllaDee" are some of my favorite pastimes.
During my professional career, I have achieved:
